"I originally delt with an online reservation and I was told that they had inside corridors and an elevator. She also said that we would have connecting rooms with queen size beds. I told the lady on the phone how important these items were since my 82 year old mother was traveling with us. She told me that I was getting the cheapest rate on line rather than dealing direct with the motel and using AAA. When I arrived and found out that the corridors were outside and there was no elevator and the rate was much higher than AAA, I cancelled the reservation and we were going to another motel. After sitting in the car and having a discussion with my mother, we decided to stay here after all. The front desk personnel were very helpful and tried their best to assist us with our request. We ended up on the first floor so we would not have steps, rooms next door to each other but not adjoining, non smoking rooms, and a cheaper rate. During our stay we dealt with the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance and all of them were VERY helpful and pleasant. Just walking down the hallway the staff would speak to us. The ladies with the continental breakfast were friendly and kept it well stocked. Other than it being an older motel, it was very nice and right next door to the dog track that we were going to. I do know that I will never book on line again due to being lied to by the lady doing the reservation."
